Volunteering at the German-Canadian Care Home is a wonderful opportunity to share time where it is appreciated, and give back some appreciation to those elder members of our community who worked to build it.
The German-Canadian Care Home offers many opportunities for people to volunteer. Examples include visiting residents, talking with residents, assisting with special events such as sing-a-long, Oktoberfest, Christmas and other holiday events, going on outings and bus trips with residents, shopping trips, visiting with pets, crafts and gardening programs and more. We would love to meet you if you are interested in volunteering.
