Family members, friends and resident representatives are encouraged to join the Family Council. It generally meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
The Family Council provides a forum for education, counseling, discussion and making decisions. Participation is an excellent way to influence matters affecting the daily lives of residents. It is also a supportive environment for families and friends experiencing difficulties in coping with deteriorating mental or physical health status of the senior in our care. The Family Council is facilitated by Miriam Planovska, the Home’s Quality of Life Manager; Miriam can be contacted at 604-713-6525, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Resident Council is open to all residents. The council is a venue for residents to represent their interests and concerns. The council meets monthly and minutes of the meetings are recorded and posted on the Resident Bulletin Board.
Miriam Planovska, Quality of Life Manager, organizes the Family Council meetings and acts as a liaison between the council and management. Please contact Miriam at 604-713-6525 or e-mail email@example.com for more information.
