Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential component of the services offered to residents at the German Canadian Care Home. Volunteers enhance the quality of life of the resident and enrich the social environment of the facility. The German Canadian Care Home offers many opportunities for people to volunteer. Examples include visiting residents, talking with residents, assisting with special events such as sing-a-long, Oktoberfest, Christmas and other holiday events, going on outings and bus trips with residents, shopping trips, visiting with pets, crafts and gardening programs and more. We would love to meet you if you are interested in volunteering.
