The German-Canadian Care Home exists because of the generous support of thousands of individuals.  Some have volunteered their time and expertise, others have actively supported the Society over the years.  They have purchased tickets at the Christmas Bazaar, written cheques, large and small.  Some of our donors have championed specific projects, while others have simply wanted to acknowledge the care given to a loved one.  They knew the money would be well spent and diligently accounted for.  Thank you!

Over the years we have been blessed with several very generous donations and legacies,  which will help ensure our ability to continue to provide high quality care — until the day that we might need it ourselves.  Our reserves allow us to embark on the building of a new Home, which can meet the complex care needs of today and tomorrow.  We have come a long way since the humble beginnings of the immigrants who arrived in British Columbia with a single suitcase.  The road ahead to completion is still far, but we have faith that we will get there because this community has the means and the mettle to match the generosity of previous generations.
