Family members, friends and resident representatives are encouraged to join the Family Council. The Family council provides a forum for education, discussion, information exchange, input and the opportunity to meet other family members.

There is a resident council for each house, called the House Council. Residents meet regularly and discuss issues that concern life in their house. All suggestions and requests made during the House Council meeting are brought to the care home management team meeting for resolution and follow-up. Thus, residents have direct input into management decisions.
